Update: apparently free now b/c Sega put ads in them.  Thanks @Slottr and @Mooshi.

 

SEGA is offering a number of its classic games for iPhone and iPad, and for Android for free, as listed below. The games:

• Sonic the Hedgehog for iOS or Android for free
• Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for iOS or Android for free
• Golden Axe for iOS or Android for free
• The Revenge of Shinobi for iOS or Android for free
• Phantasy Star II for iOS or Android for free
• Kid Chameleon for iOS or Android for free
• Streets of Rage for iOS or Android for free
• Beyond Oasis for iOS or Android for free

Theyre free because they added ads into the games.

Pretty sure those have been freemium games loaded with ads for awhile.
