My friend lent me this lens but it seems a little fucked.

 

My question is can it be repaired at home ?

no as far as i know lenses are very sensitive to every micro millimeter and cant be fixed when brocken

oh dear was that YOUR computer i just downloaded a few dozen viruses on when you weren't paying attention?

Looks like a bit of fungs starting off in the lens. Probably been stored in a damp environment. Store it in a sealed food box with a load of silica gel packs, and if you have access to it, stick some UV light on it. That'll stop it getting any worse.

 

Only good if the lens is still useable mind, if it isn't then it needs servicing, which might not be worth the cost.

 

They're not actually as sensitive as you might think to things getting inside them, you can get away with small amounts of dust.
