PC stuck in a boot loop after adjcusting CPU clock speed.

Chewique

So i was trying to adjust the clock speed of my i5 6600k. after applying the changes (4.1 ghz up to 4.175) the computer is now stuck in a boot loop. When i turn it on all the fans and light come on but the "EZ debug light" shows there is a CPU error. Is there any way i can fix this?

Yeah its a good Idea to learn how to USE and RESET the BIOS before you start overclocking.  Look for the BIOS Reset jumper on the motherboard.

2 ways of resetting the BIOS.

  1. Take the motherboard battery, located above the first PCIe slot for 5 - 10 minutes, then back in.
  2. Locate the CPU jumper pin. This has a jumper on pins 1 + 2, then place it on 2 + 3 for 5 - 10 minutes, then back onto 1 + 2.
