Need to find the owner.

Hej! So, my old classmate came back from her trip to Bulgaria. Found an iPhone 5s laying in the sand in Sunny beach. She said it supposedly is a danish man or womans phone because of the  logo on the phone's carrier. On other notes, there is no way of identifying the owner because as i see, the phone had been tampered with before. the sim Had been PUK locked, so the sim is totally out of question, only use it has is the Numbers on the back of it and the logo of an upside down Q thingy (Supposedly a danish carrier) i just want to get into the  phone to find out if there is any info on the owner or not, pictures, contacts, anything. But here is the problem. I'm stuck on the startup page, where i need to set up the phone after i had done that. asked for the Apple iCloud, it didn't say  it was locked, it just asked for it. Says the Email used was k*****@gmail.com. No idea what to do with it, maybe any of you tech gurus can give me a bruteforce way to bypass the iCloud area. Also, there is no button to say, "Sign in later". Just putting that out there for the people who would have suggested it, you and i know there was gonna be that one guy.

 

To repeat. The iPhone is not iCloud Locked, I just wants me to sign in. No idea who the owner is. Need to bypass iCloud login to find more info about owner. If any help, here is the ultra long Code on the sim card: 8945061706320033752

The phone's IMEI will stay secret for now. Until it is necessary.

Why not try contacting the Danish carrier and ask them to contact the owner of the phone?

here's the problem, no idea what danish carrier it is, i had the same idea to go to the mobile carriers office and ask for help, but then i heard it's from denmark, and i was like "I don't feel like traveling"

It's iPhone, you're not gonna get into it. Don't waste your time. The system is locked down and well secured.

Post a picture of the logo? Someone might recognize it. And you don't have to go and visit their office, just contact their support via email?

Well, actually. i could go to the Apple store near me and ask them to look at the device maybe they'll fin the owner. though i doubt it would give anything

They're not going to give you the information of the owner. But they can maybe assist in getting the phone back to the owner. You can try contacting Valge Klaar or IM Arvutid about it.

Well, it's gonna be hard because to only branding on the sim is the Q like thingy. And there are hundreds of Brands. Though It reminds me of something, but i can't put my finger on it. It looks Really really familiar. and a picture will be up in a few.

To the google pictures with the Carriers names, none of the sims matched. But as i said, it looks really familiar. Maybe a British Carrier.

Just to be clear - your classmate went to Bulgaria for a trip. Found an iPhone in the sand, brought it along back to Estonia? Without trying to find the owner in Bulgaria..?

Yes, i do not know what she had in mind, or who even came up with the idea. Who ever it was, the chance of us finding the owner of the phone to be from Estonia, is a pretty slim chance.

Looked at the vodafone sim cards, nothing. Though it does look similar, but that's not what i had in mind. and what is interesting this sim has a code behind it, but estonian sim cards have a estonian iBan behind it. maybe it's some bank account, though yet again, the usefulness of that is 0

So the first 2 digits of the code at the back are static (89), they never change the following 1-3 digits are the calling code of the country. in this example 45, is the calling code for denmark. and the two or 3 digits after the calling code is the number of the company, in this case the danish Hi3G or 3 in denmark. Break it down!

89 Is always static, 45 is the calling code. varies from the contry calling code and the 06 means the company. found it out from this page's download link to all the companies that provide a sim card http://www.itu.int/pub/T-SP-E.118-2013

already found the origin of it, it's the Danish Hi3G carrier. sent an email to support.

Well, finding the owners info is one thing, but i live like 600 or so km away from Denmark. getting there would cost me more than this iPhone does, especially finding the owner within a country with more population in their capital than in Estonia in total.
