So, I have a computer I am about to upgrade. It currently has a Pentium G3250 in it, but I am going to upgrade it to an i5 4460. It has 8gb of RAM and a Radeon HD 7570. I am upgrading this computer because I want to livestream myself playing older and lighter video games (CS:GO, CoD MW2, Rocket League, etc.) for 24 hours straight. Does this PC sound capable of handling that task?

most of the time i recommend an i7 or so for streaming because encoding is a demanding task, but if you're streaming in lower quality, you will probably get by. It's definitely better than the pentium.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

i went from a G3260 to an i5 4670 and the improvement was more than i expected, i don't know how the 7570 will handle it but the i5 should be able to handle the streaming while playing as long as it is in a lower quality (cpu should be able to handle 720p), and cooling is adequate as 4th gen processors had a few overheating issues, after running my i5 for a few minutes with a stock air cooler it was throttling at 100 degrees so instead of getting another air cooler i switched straight to the deepcool aio. if you don't have an upgrade path in mind might i suggest gpu next then the ram as you will see the biggest improvement with the gpu next.

Stick to 720p 30fps, and use the x264 encoder and you should be fine. Make sure you do have adequate cooling for the CPU.

look at xeons, for that socket theres a few that are like i7s but cheaper.

what motherboard is it?

the range is xeon e3-1230 v3 to e3-1276. These all are like i7s but for cheaper.

Note make sure your mobo supports them before buying.

The mobo is a Gigabyte H81M-S1 Rev. 1. Are there any LGA 1150 Xeon processors?

You can use ReLive to live stream off your GPU.

But unless that i5 is really cheap it might be worth just getting on a modern platform like AM4. Maybe go for an i7 at minimum.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I would go for an older i7 as those threads really help while encoding. Or you can use your GPU to encode, giving better performance in games. If you are wanting to upgrade fully, an AM4 platform is the way to go.
