24 inch = 1920x1080p

27 inch = 2560x1440p

This is the most optimal configuration for pixel density, now if you want a well priced great gaming experience immersive and all I actually recommend a 29 inch 2560x1080p ultrawide.

Even in 24" (23,8") 2560x1440 makes a huge difference having more than 1080p. and is way sharper with more space to work with. I have both (Dell U2414H + Acer XB241YU. Had Dell S2417dg before here too, also a VERY good pricing) in front of me, 23,8" x2. One is 1080p, other 1440p. I would go for 1440p again at this size (<70cm for me).

It's just... at 24" the size vs. viewing distance is okay, so that 1080p is still fine. But still, 1440p is visibly better. Since i use the 1080p one for Browser + tools + steam chat only~ while gaming, sometimes youtube/videos, i would prefer 2560x1440 here, so i can fit more windows on the screen.

But at 27" yea, 1440p and above, i really wouldn't get 1080p here, unless you sit 100-120cm away from it or even more, while at the same time your budget is soooooo limited, that you really can't afford 1440p.

Hi guys

I've been hitting google with the question what monitor is better for gaming and I found out that 27 inch will have a blurry pixel density at 1080p but the correct pixel density would be at 24 inch monitor.

Now if I buy a 27 inch monitor will I even notice that difference? Can I go for a 27 inch gaming monitor?

I like the look of the 24 inch for 1080p personally,

So will I notice a difference in a 27 inch @ 1080p?

I just wish there are more 24" 1440p monitors. I like that ppi for it. Sadly everyone are making oversized ultrawides.
