How do I get my PC to be on carpet safely?

So I have kind of an issue in which I need my PC to be on the floor but I've got some pretty shaggy carpet and a downward facing power supply. I'm not quite sure what I can do about this but i was looking at some PC stands and was wondering if that was a viable option? Or if anyone has a recommendation? I have the NZXT S340 Case but the feet aren't big enough to lift it off the carpet very much.

Tbh I have my PSU facing downwards and the case just standing on a rug, it's probably fine.

Get a board or two to put under the case, that way it's up off the carpet.

If you don't have any available to you, some books or other solid objects should do as well.

Are you sure the S340's feet aren't tall enough? It's been many years since I had carpet, but the case feet on my S340 are very tall. I have my doubts that your PSU couldn't get enough air unless you have shag carpet.

As said above, place your pc on something. Also get some filters for the intakes.

Turn the PSU in the case so the fan is pointing up.
