ASUS Motherboard RMA or Amazon Refund??

Hello, I'm undecided if I should go through Asus RMA or return motherboard to Amazon for a refund.

 

So, Last night my PC stopped booting up (stuck on dram yellow light). I called Asus technical support and they determined the motherboard was the cause of the dram led being lit, and not the RAM like I thought. They started RMA processed and sent me an email with instructions. I planned on sending off my motherboard to Asus today but I was discouraged after reading about other people's experience with Asus RMA. 

 

Does anyone have any experience with Asus Customer Service?RMA? is it bad/good?

 

I'm still within the 30 day return window with amazon. (return window closes tomorrow) June 14. This might be a stupid question... but is it easier to just return to amazon for a full refund rather than dealing with Asus RMA process?

You have already gotten through the hard part of the RMA process truthfully. Continue with the RMA, usually in most cases is a 2-4 week turn around at worst.

I'd just return it to Amazon. They'll deal with returning it to the manufacturer themselves.

It's faster, easier, and nets the same result.

Amazon if you can do it and your account isn't flagged for too many returns. An Amazon return is much faster and less stressful than having to go through an RMA
