I've always been a big fan of the 250D. Kind of odd that it hasn't seen any form of a refresh is ~4 years.

Is my memory just completely shot or is this not on floatplane yet?

nvm, I found it and it is -_-  I blame the different video titles xD

depends on what kind of board you're looking for. Intel or AMD, and what chipset?

anyway, this brand new X299 board has lots of phases and active VRM cooling, so it;s definitely a beast for overclocking:

Z370 and X470 maybe? I struggle to find good options to recommend there.

Nice video, though one point of critique: "analysing particle collisions" requires more than 128 GB of RAM ;)xD

I purchased a Corsair One last year to replace my ancient Full Tower "In Win Dragon Rider" I built in 2011.  I have to say that I am very impressed with the Corsair One's performance and, it is just so quiet with the single fan.  It also saves so much space on my desktop.  So much so I decided to "go big" with a 34" Ultrawide monitor.

Maybe I'll resurrect the Full Tower in the future but, for now I'm happy with my plucky little "trash can" PC.

Its a pretty basic question to answer.

Do you require a small pc whether it be for looks, or actual requirements for living in a van, carrying around.

If you require more stuff on the mobo then go atx or e-atx, its not that hard to figure out, so why make a video about it.

If you want a all in one unit (like me) this includes a Blu-Ray player you'll need to go at least mid, but depending on the setup you wish to go for you'll need the full size.

My overseer is a good example of a ok > good looking full tower case with full functionality. It might not exactly fit under a table/desk but imo that would be a shame to do (plus you'd choke the air flow).

Unless I quit gaming or otherwise no longer require the use of any GPU/BR player/massive amounts of drive space/any other reason, I'm sticking to my large lovely beasts, sorry. That and computer cases are one of the few things I love being unrealistically big, next case will be a self built :P

I believe this is just another "Filler" video, plus I just saw a posting on the right hand side of the forum on a video titled, "Why Max Quit" - Well that is really between the employer and Max, unless she gave you the ok, just another example of a shallow video.

As someone who has done paint/prep and such work that video was painful to watch, even tho it was for nails. They should stick to their day jobs :P But I do agree the title even with permission is not a good one.

Thank you for that. Sadly, I don't fancy any objects going inside me unless for medical reasons ;)

Not just looking for negative things here, but you did forget the biggest point in the corsair one roundup near then end: Customization. The reason I will never buy one like that is because it is so hard to change out parts, it voids the warranty most of the time, and not all parts can be changed out, if at all.

I like the mid-tower ATX form factor, personally.

I don't yet have a need for a full-tower, so for the time being, my S340 is all I need to contain my rig. One of the main reasons I prefer mid tower, is that it doesn't limit you nearly as much as mATX mid tower in terms of expandability, and everything is less cramped. Also, mid tower ATX cases can hold more drives :)

They actually made a video talking about opening and customizing the Corsair One a year ago.

I literally have a Phanteks Shift (non X) With Ryzen 1700 and a B350-I MBO. Why?   I don't need anything else.

image.png.0ea1133b4761a008bfa4baaae7f87ae7.png (not my PC, from the net)

It looks beautiful, works normal. A 120 AiO is enough and silent with noctua fans.  I could even get a 1080Ti hydro for the other 120mm mounting point and that would be it. (when the prices come down hopefully around next "black friday".

I've bought this cheap case for my NAS and now I have all the storage needs and then some.

http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/pcs/pc-cases/51527/sharkoon-t9-value-review

Sharkoon T9 Value

9 x 5.25 bays gives you a ton of 3.5" or 2.5" hot swap bays like this combo:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/SilverStone-SST-FS305B-Aluminium-Trayless-Backplane/dp/B019HE69FO/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1524015012&sr=8-14&keywords=3.5%2Bhot%2Bswap%2B5.25&th=1

image.png.2a50dcdccb45425d6114299b09c2c772.png

and

https://www.amazon.co.uk/SilverStone-SST-FS305B-Aluminium-Trayless-Backplane/dp/B019LS5UFG/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1524015012&sr=8-14&keywords=3.5%2Bhot%2Bswap%2B5.25&th=1

image.png.68a2d86c7fafb9b416b3978bb8d6c18a.png

And it's stuck away "in the cellar".

I've been buying full and/or midi towers for 20 years now and every single time they go unused (PCI wise). Since switching to mATX and mini-ITX, I'm not missing anything really.  SLI and Crossfire are dead basically (have they ever been alive except on Voodoo cards? :)

I'm not a fan of small form factor PC's because I really like hardline watercooling and those are usually more accommodating. Need not only space for the reservoir and tubing but also - and foremost - for radiators.

That being said, if you don't live alone that might as well be a contributing factor to the choice you make if other tennants don't really enjoy looking at a big tower on display.

My significant other would've probably been happier if I made something small in a black box but it is what it is - I managed to convince her that the tower isn't going anywhere but sacrifices had to be made :D
