Finally, NVIDIA 1100 Series arrived (Spec, Price but not in stock yet)

Steve F Fox

Earlier today, I had visit my local PC online shop as usual, but something new catch my eye,

The new NVIDIA 1100 Series cards, with price, spec and some detail, but sadly not a single card are in stock as of now....

GTX 1180 8GB : https://notebookspec.com/pc-vga/NVIDIA-GTX1180/903    = GPU@1475MHz  for $750

GTX 1170 8GB : https://notebookspec.com/pc-vga/NVIDIA-GTX1170/902    = GPU@1502MHz  for $594

On the price point, what do you guys think the price is reasonable comparing to the spec? and will there be any AMD's RX 6xx coming soon?

I had to get a new GPU soon, since I am still stuck with the dinosaur GTX560, so should I go for it once stock available?

Seem like 1170 as this price might be within my tiny saving budget ($4-500s), or if not, should I look for older 980ti/1070 instead?

Hope you guys can share some review soon,

Thanks,

I am going to call that image fake, as it really isn't too hard to edit the image of a GTX 1080 and change it to an "1180". That, and NVIDIA's CEO was literally just put on record as saying that the next generation of gaming GPU's from NVIDIA wouldn't be coming out "for some time now". Given the difference between some random internet shop image which could have been faked, versus the CEO of NVIDIA, I'll take the CEO's word first sorry mate.

Apparently it is considering the inconsistencies between the "1170" and "1180".

Hope that it isn't another Chinese re-brand fake card too,

But this site is one of the most popular PC store and community in Thailand, so, it would be a shame if turn out to be scam, B|

I don't know if you are being serious or not Steve, but you appear to have fallen for an obviously faked photo hook, line, and sinker. I know you may be impatient to upgrade your GPU, but you must learn that product releases are controlled by external forces.

That is indeed not real. You can find those fake photos of the upcoming 1170 and 1180 all over the internet.

also, why are both cards 8gb, and the 70 faster? from what i heard there will be 8/16gb variants so id expext the 1180 to be anything but 8gb.
