What do you think? I think it should look pretty sexy.

Should look great. I'd consider waiting for the Evolv X though since it will have integrated RGBs in the front panel along with better airflow. It will be out in August at a price of $199.99.

i'd avoid the G3 for now and get a focus plus gold or RMx instead, i'd get 3 phanteks halos RGB frames to use with the existing fans.

Don't waste your money lol, wait until Ryzen 3000 in 2019, the 2000 series isn't a major upgrade over Ryzen gen 1 with the same core counts.

And don't pay that much for a 1080ti...

just live with like a GTX 1070 ti and you should be alright

You should also buy a case that actually has airflow, like a masterbox 5 black

And you don't need to buy windows, you can install it for free without a key straight from microsoft

$269 for 16GBs of RAM?!?!

Wouldn't waste money on fancy PSU cables or RGB, buy those new noctua fans, far more useful than RGB

What's your monitor set up? Resolution/refresh rate?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

There are rumors of 10 or 12 core 2800X coming out depending on how the 9700k looks. If 2800X is 10 or 12 core I would consider it a go. If its 8 core 4.2 or 4.3 I would probably hold off. 4.6-5.0GHz 8 core I would consider it.

It's very likely not happening until Ryzen 3000, because they would have to move to a 6 core per CCX design to hit 12 cores on the desktop, and there will likely just be newer better chipset boards with it as well, X570 most likely

I already have a $30 Win 10 Pro copy from G2A back in the day. Also, I already have a 1080 Ti that I kept when I was doing mining and sold my other 1080 Ti's. I also already have a bunch of noctua fans including the chromax series but want LL120's. Money isn't really a problem to be honest. I care more so about aesthetic and how it will look and RGB goodness. lol

I have a DELL 27" G-sync 144hz  1440p 1 ms response

nevermind half of that then, should probably still buy a case that actually has airflow though...

The H500P Mesh has giant RGB fans and good airflow

That rumor is false. More cores on Ryzen will come in 2019, if they bring more cores to Desktop. (We know more are coming for Server. Desktop isn't known yet.)

I'd honestly go for the 2600X, then upgrade to a Ryzen 3rd Gen next year. (Though, in many ways, performance uplift isn't going to be huge. Better clocks and 5-15% IPC?)
