phone Samsung S8 vs Oneplus 6?

As suggested by the thread title, I'm undecided whether to purchase a samsung S8 or a oneplus 6. From my research I've found they're both great phones in different ways; the samsung appears to be more feature packed and premium: whereas the oneplus has better raw performance due to it's newer CPU and a cleaner OS. Price isn't really a factor as they can both be found very similarly at this point in time. I'd like some opinions from users of either of the phones to aid me in my choice.

Honestly, i doubt you can beat the OP6 for the price. I'm not a big fan of the Samsung OS and i much prefer Oxygen OS. I'd go for the OP6...

Or just put a custom ROM on the S8, clean OS with premium device

as someone who as been a samsung person for pratically all of my phones except one (I hate you LG) the s8 is a great phone.  but so is the one plus 6.  i would probaly go with the oneplus 6 just make sure that it works on your carrier.  the only way that i would go with the s8 is if you prefer samsungs verision on android which to me really isnt bad.  im currently using a galaxy note 8
