Router for small Business

The modem is a B-box 3V from Proximus (Belgium).

Ah, alright, just wanted to make sure :)

The Linksys should serve you well but I would poke around online and check the routers listed against their maximum number of supported wireless users.

Hi guys

I was contacted my employee today to buy a new router for the company TO: connect our Sonos system (2 Play:ONE speakers and a phone for the music)(and always always give that priority so it doesn't fail) and to let costumers connect to the wifi (80 users a day, simultaneously maybe 60 users connected). The only problem is that I can spend +- 100 EUR.

For us it isn't a problem if the costumers have a slow internet, let say 3 Mbps (that is enough for some basic Instagram and Snapchat, which our users use their phones for). For us it is more important that the Sonos system never never fails.

I have found some routers but I am not sure which one is better or where to look for other then QoS and MU-MIMO. Even here I'm not sure if MU-MIMO is necessary?

Because I'm more of a house networking guy, not for a business (I'm still learning everyday).

The help you guys give me the last years helped me a lot, and if you guys can help me here that would be awesome.

Here are some routers I found:

Netgear R6400;

Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 R6800;

TP-Link Archer C2300;

ASUS RT-AC58U;

Linksys EA8300 Tri-band;

Netgear Nighthawk R7000;

Asus RT-AC68U (doesn't have MU-MIMO but has a good deal on it).

Sincerely yours

Do you have an existing router?

If so then I would recommend a Ubiquiti AP instead

No, we have the modem from our ISP. So I said lets make a quick change because it can't holp up anymore, I recently joined the business.

Now is the modem a pure modem or a combo unit?

What router do you use now?

Netgear is pretty solid for the most part from what I've seen but I haven't used them in forever.

Anything mid-high and above isn't that useful since you aren't gaming anytime
