Building pc without case.

Would it be safe to build a computer without a case. The reason I’m asking is because I’m low on cash, and am tryna save money till I can get a case.

I hAve an unfinished pc build. Pls dont bully for not having one yet or i cry.

sure, people use the motherboard box or other boxes as cases, or just have them laying on something non conductive. its not as safe as a case, but its doable

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

If you must avoid a case for awhile, grab a cardboard box and use that. This way you will have some closure.

the only negative aspect is really the dust. A youtuber did a experiment of a PC without a case for a year, no problems besides the dust.

Big concern with a caseless system is the lack of support for the gpu.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Just find a stud and screw it right into the wall. if you cant mount some stuff this way, just beat it into the wall until it makes a nice snug hole that will keep it there.
