Your temps will be higher if there is no active airflow to the heatsinks and fans. Dust buildup will also be an issue meaning you will have to clean 2-3 times more frequently.

lol, i cleaned my pc just barely a month ago but my aunt smokes so much there is already a noticeably amount of buildup on the fans...

Rip. Try and keep the PC away from the ash to prevent the build up of dust or ash, in your case.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Slot or feet, yes :(. Simply sitting flat is not usually a problem. However there is a lever effect that occurs when a video cable moves or if one accidentally brushes the top of the card.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Cases can be as low as £10/$10... spare cases can be free if you know someone "throwing out" an old PC.
