$3000 Gaming Rig for School

Need a quick PC park picker list. I am supposed to come as close to $3000 as possible without going over. I want to so I am doing water cooling so deduct about 400$ for that. And I am using the Corsair Air 540 for a Case. It is due in 2 hours. OS is included.Can anybody help?

If that was the case then Hard-Core 3D Editing Rig would be a more appropriate title.  

 

If this is just for gaming then spend $1000 - $1500 and save the rest of the money for classes, food, gas, etc.

From what he said, it is a project for school. Maybe like if you were given $3000, what would you do with it. Most people here would obviously buy a $2800-$3000 PC and the rest left over for games.
