Is the inside of the anti-static bag that the motherboard comes in safe to work on?

So I was wondering. It's not "safe" to work on your motherboard while it's on the plastic bag that your motherboard came in. So I was wondering. What if you turned the bag inside out and used the inner side of the bag to work on your motherboard. Would that be safe?

Technically, yeah. 

 

You'd be better off just putting it on top of your motherboard box though. 

 

Also, people overreact about the outside of the anti-static bag not being anti-static, but it's not like it's highly conductive or anything. It's safe to work on, but there's no point in putting the board on it. The motherboard box is more convenient

Just use the box the motherboard came in. Cardboard aren't that prone to static discharge.

Just keeping this here as a The static is only really dangerous for CPU socket side and open socket. Other sockets are protected with plastic shroud covering contacts.
