Chaicho

I have so many folders with 1 image each, and well I want to merge them together so I dont have to open each folder to view them all.

^ This is probably the easiest way to do it and works well.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Just navigate to the top-folder in Explorer, press F3, type in the asterisk-character (*) and press enter. Then select all the files it finds, right-click on them, select Cut, and then navitage to where you want them, right-click in the empty space and click Paste.

Okay, so, what it is, is a wild card.  Like, it can be anything.

like *.jpg would list you all jpegs.

Let's say you have multiple files but they all contain one word like 'vacation' but have timestamps or other words before and after you could say use '*vacation*' and it'll find you everything containing that word. But what if there were multiple files?  Like JPEGs but also XML metadata files and you only wanted the JPEGs?  '*vacation*jpg' boom.

Asterisk is a wildcard operator that essentially means "anything." It can used in a lot of ways and be used to replace single or multiple characters within search terms. There are other uses but I don't feel like writing an essay. :P

I guess I'm too old too because I remember when this would have been considered basic computing skills/knowledge.
