Which would you choose.

1)Msi Gtx 780 and 250GB ssd

or

2)Msi Gtx 780ti and 120GB ssd.

I would also have a WD Black 1TB drive so is it better to get the better graphics or more storage?

I'm leaning more towards option 2, because I think it would be easier later down the line to add another ssd.

Current Build:

i5-6600k, Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7, Evga GTX 980ti, Kraken X61,  EVGA Supernova 1000w Power Supply, 1tb hard drive, 128gb Samsung ssd, 240gb OCZ ssd, Seagate 1tb Hybrid, Windows 8.1

MSI  GTX 780 Ti and 120GB SSD.

I have 120GB SSD drive that I use for my program and Windows. I have Windows 8(19,4GB), Office 2013(3GB), Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection(25GB), Cinema 4D(8GB) and a bunch of other space hungry programs and I still have about 30GB of free space. 120GB is more than enough for just the system and programs.

I have all my games on a HDD:

•  i7 4770k @ 4.5ghz • Noctua NHL12 •  Asrock Z87 Extreme 4 •  ASUS GTX 780 DCII 1156/6300 •

•  Kingston HyperX 16GB  •  Samsung 840 SSD 120GB [boot] + 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM •

•  Fractal Design Define R4  •  Corsair AX860 80+ Platinum •  Logitech Wireless Y-RK49  •  Logitech X-530  •

780 ti and 120GB SSD.

any recent 1TB HDD gets around 150-200MB/s read/write speeds, and that's plenty for a majority of files.

The small SSD should just be used for the OS and other files or programs accessed frequently or started with windows.

Besides if you were to get a 240-256GB ssd it would be just enough to put a few games on it,but at the same time not enough to put all your games on it,so it would make virtually no difference.

I'd say if you go larger than 120GB just go 500GB or above, otherwise it isn't large enough to justify the price.

2 things you could do

1) 780 and a 250gb ssd. This is great because with a 120gb ssd, atleast for me, you always wonder if you should install on  hdd or ssd. With 250gb's, that problem is gone for me

2) 780ti and 120gb ssd+in a couple months add another 120gb ssd for raid 0. I like this option more because you get the best gpu and also you get double the performance of a single ssd while still having 240gb. But until you get the 2nd ssd, you're going to feel cramped in terms of storage.

Finally my Santa hat doesn't look out of place
