How to make a large ring fit? (No modifications to the ring)

Laniakea

I bought my first ring ever recently and I waited for it to ship from China to here for almost a month anddd... It even fits my brother's finger that 3.5 years younger than me (I'm 17 btw), and even it is so small it doesn't fit most of my friends finger, even some girls! Ring size is 8 and I would buy if there were a 6 size but I already got the smallest possible soo... What things you suggest me to do? Build finger muscle? :D I can't make my fingers fat cuz well, I'm already fat and trying to lose weight. Please don't say things like put a tape between ring and your finger and I'm waiting for replies ^^ Thanks already!

I mean that seems like your only option is to either mod your fingers or build muscle.  Not a lot of options outside of that.

How do I mod my fingers? :D

I wouldn't suggest it, and maybe just give the ring away or return it?

Return isn't possible due to it shipped free and to send it back to China, it would cost me more than 10 dollars. Giving it away, aaahhh i like this ring man I want it to fit me. It's just loose a bit it tends to fell off.

This kind of thing I guess?
https://www.amazon.com/RinGuard-Ring-Size-Adjuster-Sizes/dp/B00PI0T25Q/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1470851576&sr=8-1&keywords=ring+guards&linkCode=sl1&tag=dmia05-20&linkId=79ee3098ebef191e1c94f71dc9512446

Otherwise, you could cut a small chunk of it, solder it back together and polish it hard... But for a $10 ring, not worth it.

Soooo....

The TL;DR is that you bought a ring and your fingers are very tiny. The ring is too big. Is that correct?

If so, the solution depends on: How much money are you willing to spend to fix this problem?

There's no true "free" fix. Bands or stuffing or paper, etc, these are all patch jobs.

However, it's entirely trivial for a Jeweler to downsize a ring. With that in mind, you would have to check your local jeweler for a price.

Buy a chain and put it around your neck.

It's likely made out of steel or some cheap metal, also it only cost them $10 so I doubt it would be worth the cost to get it resized, assuming one would touch a cheap ring.

it's roughly on par to steel :P Just make sure you take good care of the ring because it still could be steel. (never trust stuff from china esp when it could be replaced with another material)

So do they.

Not if they got the silver blue one ;)

I actually found some of these things on ebay just now.

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/8mm-Tungsten-Mens-Ring-Thin-Blue-Line-Inside-Black-Brushed-Band-Engraving-Avail/391689145319

But if they got the silver blue combo I've not found a size less than 8.

Yes, there is a solution. However, since you only paid $10 for a ring you knew was the wrong size, so the solution isn't very cost effective.

As others have said, either return the ring (or just keep it/sell it/give it away) and buy a knockoff from eBay. Numerous people posted links.

I need to be blind to say that they're the same, I wouldn't buy them flat design and looks cheap, and I already bought the ring.

The ring is pretty heavy soo I'm assuming it is made of tungsten. I don't live in US or Canada, I live in Turkey, there's no Ebay soo :D

I really like the ring and I'll keep it. I guess I'll just wait to grow up with it :)

Alright, so what you want to do is buy a time machine. When you get this time machine you need to go so far into the future that surgery is cheap and easy. What you want to do is get an operation on your finger so that the ring will now fit. You also want to see all the stocks at the time so you can become rich and take over the world. After that then go back to the present and boom, your ring will fit. Now that you've read this you must give me half the fortune that you earn from my advice. /s

The only reason I'm here is that I have homework that I don't want to do

It took me half an hour to find where to change my signature :(

Unless the seller says no shipping to Turkey (and paypal works there too), ebay "should" work as well ;)

I actually bought one from ebay just to smash it with a hammer :D Or maybe something less destructive... Not sure yet.
