If you had to choose between a RX 480 4Gb and a RX 570 4Gb and they are the same price, which would you choose?

Palaiologos XII

I want to pair these two gpus with a Ryzen 5 1400.

Would the RX 480 4Gb be better than a RX 570 4Gb?

The 480 because it has more cores and you can just overclock it a 580's level most likely.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Considering that a 580 is essentially an overclocked 480 with a couple tweaks xD

480 all the way

480 perf > 470 perf, and 570 is basically 470.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Nice I think I'll get a RX 480 then, I am going to get one from Powercolor that is 8Gb and this one is the Red Devil Edition with three fans.

The seller on eBay is asking for $260 plus $15 in shipping.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I wouldn't pay that much for an RX 480, especially that one. Don't run furmark on it or overclock it much if any. The VRM will be fine for daily use, also it was probably a miner card

What's your current PC/GPU?

Wouldnt it 100% hinge on the price for either one. Which is in the title, my bad, was into reading the posts. Same price do as mentioned by everyone. 470
