How to measure power usage of my computer?

Hey guys

can you recommend me a program that measures the power usage of my computer?

Would be great to also see temperatures of components.

Thanks in advance!!

Hwinfo can measure a lot.

But if you want proper power consumption measurements, get the right gear.

To my knowledge, the only accurate way is through hardware.

i5-8600k, MSI Z370-A Pro, 2x 8GB DDR4-3k, MSI Gaming X 1060, NZXT S340, 2TB HDD, 750w Corsair PSU, AOC 2775 OC'd to 80Hz and CFG73 at 144hz

Where do I find the power consumption in HWinfo64? I can't find the value.

It's possible there's nothing in your system to measure that (actually very likely)

If you want to measure that you'll need a hardware meter thingy. Hwinfo is usually good for voltages and temps.

Definitely recommend. I think every household should have one of these.  It is amazing how much power some stuff take even when off. I found multiple devices that take a stupid amount of power when off. Like a speaker system that takes 20 Watts when off, plasma TV that takes 30Watts when off,  competently ridiculous. This has paid for itself many time over just with the power savings by unplugging stuff I don't use very often or installing a shutoff switch in between the offending device and the wall.

You can't actually measure that by software. HWiNFO and others can only show current usage of some of connected devices. Only way to get it software-wise is if your PSU has USB connector. So higher end Corsairs PSUs. Or get any wall meter.

On my PC I get powers for mobo, GPU VRM and CPU. But not the whole system. Like drives or anything else running directly off PSU. Just things that are powered by mobo or GPU.
