If you look at a lot of the mods they have low post counts. Number of posts means nothing.

The moment you mention anything political here or anything to do with social justice, prepare to get an ear full. Driving here is also toxic. Was going straight down a street tonight at two consecutive intersections (I had no stop sign), I get cut off by perpendicular traffic that never even slowed down. Both times it was a BMW, go figure.

How do moderators become moderators? Are they automatically chosen or elected by other mods? I really want to become a mod on this forum and help out a little.

It could be different for every forum. Some forums only have mods and admins that are actual employees and therefore have no public mods. However for forums that do have community mods... Generally a moderator is chosen by the staff of the forum (the admins and mods). Sometimes even put up for vote. Also usually only when there is need for a moderator. Sometimes you need to be nominated too. Generally exceptionally helpful or being generally friendly to members as well as helping by reporting spam or posts against policy can get you on the radar as a candidate. Like I said it's different for every forum and I don't know how it is here.

Being a moderator of a forum means you will have a lot of responsibility and in some cases be held to a whole different standard when it comes to posting...especially if the forum has an active leadership base and/or tiers.

There's no place like ~

well its been explained before but here is how it goes

so pretty much the mods are like the jedi council, but when more jedi join more council members are brought in, to be brought in they are either NORMALLY* brought up by council members during selections, then after discussion among the council the is called in and if he approves then the Colonel @colonel_mortis is to inform pretty much Yoda were he makes final descion @Slick ( Luke from LTT/Floatplane ).

*also working for LTT in certain positions can get you admin powers

Didn't he have some part in the PSU Tier List?

Yeah. I think you're referring to the story about a new building going over a very surface facelift, and charging $2k and up for the suites, a significant increase over what they were charging before. They said something like "well, we've already rented out most of the more expensive ones, we have offers on a few others, and only 2 haven't rented." The market will show what it can bare. If people are paying it, then how far off are they really?

It's like the DTES people that complain about affordable housing. They want to live in the heart of downtown; it's going to be expensive. If you want cheaper housing, move further out. Simple. The hearts of most cities aren't cheap. Vancouver's an expensive city, but you get what you pay for.

Don't even get me STARTED on Seattle traffic.?

F*ck it I'm moving to New West. There's a lot of newly built houses at Queensborough.

How do moderators become moderators? Are they automatically chosen or elected by other mods? I really want to become a mod on this forum and help out a little.

You need to give a 1/10 of your income to Linus Media Group via wire transfer and voila you become a mod.

Sorry, Vancouver is worse 100%.

No highways, all cars for through normal city streets.

Bridges needed to cross the Fraser, all old, all 1 or 2 lanes per direction excluding the Port Mann.
