Business computer surplus?

Im looking for like older systems to upgrade, and I've heard businesses upgrade regularly and have a surplus, but i can't seem to find any, any tips?

Look it up on ebay.

eBay is usually flooded with off-lease optiplexes.

Ebay is a good option, so is Craigslist.

 

Maybe ask around local businesses like colleges, universities, libraries, and other places to see when they plan on upgrading next and see if you can get some.

Hit up your local gov't and ask where they surplus things to.

Also, the military surplus outlets will be in the know of that sort of thing as well

^Yep, just ask where the DRMO auctions occur for a base.

Sometimes some sweet stuff goes through a DRMO.

Check around to see if you have any computer/electronic recycling center near by too. They most of the time get large shipments of whatever schools, government offices, business (etc) don't need when they upgrade.
