Can you sell warranty?

I have a new celloron processor which is in a system that I am selling in a week. Could I make more money by selling the warranty? Or is it illegal, won't work, etc?

No. The warranty is included, if it's within 3 years old for the CPU. Only an idiot would pay extra for it, and if you ask for extra, you're just ripping someone off.

you cant sell a warranty that is not supported by you. Any warranty that processor may have may only be valid for the original purchaser as well. Also, im prety sure trying to sell a warranty that is included with an item normaly can be constituted as fraud soo yeah.

No, you can't sell the warranty by itself. It will be transferred to the person who buys the CPU and you can't charge them for it.

I mean if you make sure the buyer understands explicitly it's not a manufacturer warranty you're selling (i.e. it's your own warranty as a seller), then I guess it should be okay. As long as the buyer knows what sort of warranty they're buying into (i.e. in this case, not one associated with Intel) and what would be covered. Whether or not the buyer would assume that is legit is another story.
