Is this psu good enough for overclocking (pls help)

Hi,

Im planning on overclocking a ryzen 3 1300x to 3.9/4 ghz and i was wondering if the AeroCool Integrator 500W 80+ Certified Builder PSU would be good enough for it. If not could you reccomend me a cheap 500w semi modular psu that would be good enough, thanks.

spend more a nicer PSU, you can carry it over to future builds, and ATX ain't going to change for a long time..

assuming your budget is around 30 GBP..

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

That's not a great unit. Go for a CX450M or the like.

Good luck with that.

Most Ryzen don't go that far...

And you might be doubling the Power consumption of the CPU...

No, get a decent one, one that regulates minor rails independently and is of way better quality.

you get what you paid for.

There is no cheap shortcut with PSU. because YOU can order anything you need for a PSU off of Digikey and Mouser - minus the PCB.

So you have to pay for a decent one a decent amount of money. There is no way around that!
