2016 Pixel XL overcurrent glitch

Has anyone with a 2016 Pixel XL got this serious glitch where the phone keeps trying to charge before finally doing it? 

 

Apparently, it's because the phone is asking for way too much power to the point of kicking in any overcurrent protection in the charger itself.

It's been around since January, so I'm surprised Google isn't treating this urgently.

I don't really know. It never did this before. 

 

I just use it when the entire system just froze. Power and home buttons completely useless. It has been on 11 beta, 11.1 and 11.2 beta builds as well and it only did so on 11.3.

 

It's just so weird and usually only does so on split screen

iOS 10 was great:

it had stability, it worked well on most iOS 10 devices (well, better than 7 on the 4 and 9 on the 4S), and was near impossible to achieve a stable jailbreak.

 

iOS is unstable, buggy, swiss cheese for hackers, and pretty much fucks over the 6.

 

It's always the first in the design model that gets the worst iOS support eol
