Then ya, Ryzen APU build should be fine. Motherboard may need a BIOS update.

This is my first build and I don't wanna mess up by buying an under powered psu.

My build is:

R5 1600 probably will oc to 3.8ghz

MSI gtx 1050ti

B350 Tomahawk

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8gb 3000mhz ddr4

Do you think a CX450m Power Supply will be enough to power this build and if you have anything else to say because i am a newbie just tell me.

Thanks!

btw im am gonna start building in 2 months and and wait and see if prices of parts go down or not

Can you answer my question?

Did you buy anything yet? Because the 1050ti is still horribly overpriced isn't it?

What country?

There's absolutely no point in planning anything now, unless

And this is what you should do, is just buy a Ryzen APU PC at sub $500 and be pretty alright for 1080p gaming.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

if you have money now, one thing who can do is look for promotions every day for the next 2 months. May not get exactly what you want but you could save some money that can get you better options on the last part you buy.

It has a heatsink, but it's not a 6 + 3 phase board, it's 3 + 3, it does hold an OC on my R7 1700 alright though, VRM just needs a fan.

Not really. I prefer Asus B350 VRM though they're similar in capability. The MSI B350 Krait and Carbon have the best B350 VRM.

The Asrock board has no LLC and is a pain to overclock with from my experience. I don't recommend if it if you plan to do that.
