The eight cores are better for editing, and about it is about the same as the i7 in games, give or take a few frames

Too bad they arent real 8cores, the 8350 has nothing over the i7 in terms of performance, in price it does

Ok. The eight MODULES will be better for editing, because Adobe likes more. More is better.

If you can get the 3770K it'll probably be worth while not saying that the 3570K won't do as well.

but for the price of the 8320/50, i dont think you can get something better. Its up to the OP to decide if the price difference is worth the performance difference

I'm actually not entirely sure about this. There might be that one odd editing program that would be better with the 8350--just a thought.

If you're doing a lot of editing, get the i7. If not, the i5 is no slouch either and is still pretty decent. Remember that the i7 is just the i5 with HT.

It's hard to see the results with online benchmark results.

The AMD vs Intel on the same render was on average a 20 second difference for a smaller file with the i5/i7's winning.

This in everything isn't much but it does add up on longer renders.

From our in-house testing at Falcon Northwest we did find the Intel chips had an edge for rendering, unless it's an i3 =P The Amd chips can still hold their own, and are great for the price point but I still fall back to Intel for the job.
