Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Definitely the Beemer. But check insurance in your area on that Beemer. For some reason, an insurance quote for an Integra is higher than an EVO. U WOT M8

I want the 525tds (6 CYLINDER POWAHH) , the problem is, it's my father's beloved car :(

Umm, at least use your father's car once in a while and use your beemer for school, transportation etc?

Because of the really, really high theft rate.

It's among the most stolen vehicles in the world, at least in the US.

In my area, it's a 94 Accord. IDEK why though. It's just a regular car. I have yet to find a quote for a Mazdaspeed 6.

Here in MN, it's anything honda. Up at the maplewood mall toward vadnais heights and WBL hondas are stolen every day. Toyotas too.

I was up in como and someone tried to steal our matrix XR 4WD with me in it. He pulled the handle on the driver's side door and saw me in the car, I stood up out the passenger door and he ran off back to his car, and proceeded to flick me off on his way out.

--snip---

Damn that's a nice ghia  :o

I've seen a few around here but the owners seem incapable of maintaining them :/

B18s and k20s are hard to find and are often found in swaps. They're well known in the street racing scene due to their response and cheap repair/upgrade costs.

They steal hondas in hopes of finding them, and selling the parts so they can buy one, or trade those parts for b18/k20 build parts. I've seen it happen a lot up here.

It is beautiful, the inside, less so as it was modern modded and I prefer the original insides. Sadly a lot of owners seem to let them rust away. :(

Pretty standard locks. And easy to steal. (did my electrical and door lessons on some older accord when i was studying to become a mechanic.)

They're so easy to steal I've seen a 12 year old break into one like it was a routine daily exercise.

But.. I feel like it'd be such a waste of time and effort..

Some people will do anything. It's just pathetic.

Glad I haven't seen any hondas get stolen in recent memory. When I was younger and I lived closer to that area, it was so freaking common it was painful.

I know :/ That's why i bought the benz. vaccum locks.

A real bitch to get into if you don't have the key.

A properly wired aftermarket alarm will usually help on other cars though. If the original one is dead. which it is 99,99999 of the time

Newer accords (2002+) got a lot better alarms. Especially the V6 LX models. It's mostly the CB/CD models (90-97) that have the issue.

If you're stealing a CB7 accord, you're either pathetic or you're in love with it's looks.

If you're stealing a CD7 model accord, you are planning to drop an H22 in it and it'll fail miserably because you can't afford to make a custom mount.

But if you steal an EG/EK/EJ model civic, you're a pathetic pleb with terrible taste.

Steal a CRX, and you've got good taste. But you're still a pathetic loser as you stole someone's car. Lol.

EK Civics aren't terrible taste. They can really pack some punch.

You can still strip most of these cars down and sell the parts. I sold my old volvo 740 in parts and i made 3x what i could get for it in one piece.

But yeah. All car thieves are pathetic. Exept for Memphis Raynes xD. Damn. now i want to watch gone in 60 seconds again..
