Can this stop being claimed as news, I've seen it crash almost every day and go back up. It'll be actual news when it stays down

Bitcoin fluctuates all the time. Not long ago it was at $500, and it shot right back up to $1100. Not sure why people get surprised by this.

But really, as the poster above me put it, Bitcoin is so volatile it can and will fluctuate like this. It's happened multiple times since BTC reached $1200.

It's one thing if you go to a casino and gamble, it another thing if the dollar drops half its value in a day. I disagree, the only way for bitcoin to be a legitimate payment is if it sabilizes at one point.

Damn that dropped alot. Guess it tells people to not be greedy for waiting a bit longer to get a larger amount. But I think it would slowly go back up.

It's basically banned in China.

It's actually not. The government doesn't want banks to adopt it, it's still perfectly legal in China. Bitcoin will start climbing back up again, it always does. The drop was due to massive panic sales from misunderstanding of what China meant. It still wants people to purchase the coins, but doesn't want liability for anything that happens. So it urged banks not to adopt btc just yet.
