Just write all your passwords on a text file and then encrypt it and upload it to the cloud

If you are indeed looking for a password manager, I highly recommend Keepass.

This way, after someone hits you with a large rock, they can rummage through your pockets and then easily access everything of yours.

Keepass. 100% local, not connected to the internet. Some options can make it even safer, like automatically closing it after x amount of time or using Secure Desktop for inputting your primary password, preventing crapware from eavesdropping on it (like keyloggers).

There are also apps for mobile that can read your encrypted database if you really need to use it on the go.

Just make sure you choose a strong master password (12 character minimum and no common dictionary words) and remember it.  Lose that one and you lose all. And if anyone cracks that one they've got them all.
