A mouse pad for my g502.

Go to solution Solved by Phantonex,

I’ve been using the steel series QCK+ for around a year now, highly recommend it. I haven’t used any other mousepads though, so I’m not sure how it compares.

Hello

I'm thinking of buying the g502 and am now stuck with the choice of the mousepad. I'm leaning towards cloth ones and my top choices right now are the qck+ limted and the razer goliathus control large. Can you help narrow it down or even give suggestions so as to change something in this. Primary use will be low dpi gaming (fps and otherwise).

Thanks

First of all, get the g502, it's an amazing mouse for <$50 imo.  Get a large mousepad, keyboard/mouse sized.  I've had the qck+ and the size is so not enough.  I swapped it for a corsair mm300 (it's like a meter long) and I enjoy it so much more.  Maybe a taller mousepad would've been nice, but it works for me.

Try using the PSU Tier List!

How to reset the bios/clear the cmos

My current rig:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x

Ram: 1x16gb DDR4, 2x8gb DDR4

Storage: 1tb nvme ssd

GPU: gtx 3080

Monitor: 23.8" Dell S2417DG 144hz g-sync 1440p + 27" Acer S271HL 60 Hz 1080p

Keyboard: ducky one I | I SF

Mouse: gpro wireless | glorious model o2 wireless

Sound : beyerdynamic 1990 pro | Monoprice liquid spark (amp) + topping d10 (dac)

I have the G502 and I use the QCK Mass. Personally, I love them both.

Ummm..... possibly increase the DPI? why do you need to be moving your mouse around that much?

sadly my desk is between 2 pillars and is only maybe 850mm from left to right. please tell me you only switched to the mm300 for the size and not because its better in quality cause then i would really hate the qck+

I just like space and why wouldn't i want my dpi at anything above 800 ;)

Depending on what you are doing, but the increased horizontal space on the mm300 is amazing.  It's $20 on corsair's website right now btw.

To be honest, I haven't tried other "gaming" mouse pads. It may simply be a comfort thing. I know when I've used other mouse pads since getting it, I've found them......difficult. Sorry, just not sure how to put it.
