RYZEN+ hypothetical specs

this is just based from some sources (may be solid or not) so take this with a grain of salt

 

as usual they will launch the Ryzen 7+ first

 

Ryzen 7+

Ryzen 7 2800X is gonna be a 12 core 24 thread beast the (clock speeds are not that final)

 

Ryzen 7 2700 unlike the ZEN architecture we have now the R7 2700x will have a 10 core 20 thread Clock speeds will probably be around 3.8- 4.0 Ghz The X version around 4.10 - 4.30 or even higher)

 

Ryzen 5+

highest end will probably be called 

Ryzen 5 2600X

will probably have 8 cores 16 threads instead of the 6 cores in the Ryzen line up

Ryzen 5 1400-1500

will hopefully use 6 or 4 cores but based from my source that it will be either 6 or 4

 

 

Ryzen 3

Ryzen 2300X

4 cores 8 threads almost the same as this generation of Ryzen CPU's they just differ from the process on how it's made

No they are going to be the same core count with higher clock speeds, around 4ghz and better single core performance

R7+ well my source says it will be 10 cores other media outlet's say all 12 cores 

 

the R7-2700 it was a typo i ment just 2700  not the X version

Honestly I would expect maybe a slightly higher clock out of the box maybe a marginal IPC gain and keeping the core counts the same.  I don't see AMD wanting to potentially hurt their own thread ripper sales with higher core count CPUs.

Bro it was just a Joke/Prank get over it, Ryzen+ is a refresh from Ryzen with the exact same core count and a little bit more clockspeed out of the box.

Your sources are wrong.  8c/16t R7, 6/12 & 4/8 for R5.  ~200mhz bump for all models.

honestly don't care above 8 cores, they need to fix the single core performance. I'm expecting a 4.2-4.4 oc range, 4.4 is probably too optimistic though.
