Why is this so cheap?

Go to solution Solved by RAM555789,

Yeah $40 is a scam, its probably a cheap Chinese knock-off (BTW guys sure screenshots exist but so does this thing called a scroll wheel)

RandomGaminginHD has done a video on all this. His channel is all about getting budget hardware and also avoiding scams you may see on ebay, ect.

I went ahead and made an account (using my knock-off spam email) and I am looking at the prices now. I'll compose a list for those who don't wish to make an account. The page advertises different cards and you "choose a size" or the GPU you want. The description of it is "GTX 1060/ GTX 1050Ti/ GTX970/ GTX960/ GTX 750Ti/ GT 730 GPU 4GB GDDR5 128BIT HDMI VGA Game Video Cards Graphics Card for NVIDIA PC Gaming Desktop " however they only have cards from a GTX650 to a 1050 Ti. Here are the prices of the cards in order,

GTX650(1G)-$79USD

GTX750Ti(1G)-$81

GTX750Ti(2G)-$78

GT960(4G)-$73

GTX960(4G-$80

GTX970(1G)-$70

GTX970(2G)-$81

1050TI(4G)-$77

4PIN to 6PIN tieline-$43

Everything about this is flashing warning signs to me, especially if you look at the seller's 7 reviews, 2 and a half star ratings. Only 1 review is available, and it's in German so I went ahead and translated it "Everything works well only the packaging could have been better" (sorry about the extra spacing and freaking google translate won't let me paste as plain text anymore)

I can't see the entire page (because the 'login ad' is taking it up mostly), but that seems kinda fishy. Why does it list so many different GPU's? Why is only one relevant to the price? (GT 730) and what is that picture even? (Doesn't look familiar to me, maybe it's from China?).

You first of all don't know for certain what you are getting (I think?) and if it's anything like those cheap eBay GPU's, it's just a GTX 560 with a BIOS flash to make it look like.. Whatever GPU.

I found this on wish and was wondering why this were so cheap. Is this a good deal or is something up?

I'd exercise extream caution when shopping on wish. Chances are you wont find a name brand item there, and I would strongly advise against buying any computer hardware. People have been known to rather commonly have their bank account information stolen when they shop there. This of course, not to mention that everything comes from China.

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?
