So currently on ultrawide monitors theres just empty black space on the sides. Im thinking it would be cool if they could move some of the stuff off to the side and then just make the text box wider. Would be pretty nice imho.

I don't see how that would improve things from a usability or readability (most people hate reading really long lines of text) standpoint.

Anything is possible, but off the shelf its not there............. yet.

Maybe you could program something up and have it available to the world!!!!!!

Your stating you want to chop up the right and left sides and make the middle bigger just for LTT forums.

I'd say to a programmer type of person that'd be easy to do. Its well beyond my level of expertise

If you're looking to modify the layout of a website to your taste, there's an extension for that. I forget what it's called though.

The constrained width was a deliberate decision, because reading very long lines of text is more difficult than reasonable length lines (seeking back to the start of the next line is harder).

@Vandorlot As the saying goes "It's not a bug! It's a feature!".

It's still a terrible feature and of course it had to be one of the cliches (Not enough people affected by it, Too much work to implement it, or IPS devs say no).

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

How to setup MSI Afterburner OSD | How to make your AMD Radeon GPU more efficient with Radeon Chill | (Probably) Why LMG Merch shipping to the EU is expensive

Oneplus 6 (Early 2023 to present) | HP Envy 15" x360 R7 5700U (Mid 2021 to present) | Steam Deck (Late 2022 to present)

Mid 2023 AlTech Desktop Refresh - AMD R7 5800X (Mid 2023), XFX Radeon RX 6700XT MBA (Mid 2021), MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon (Early 2018), 32GB DDR4-3200 (16GB x2) (Mid 2022

Noctua NH-D15 (Early 2021), Corsair MP510 1.92TB NVMe SSD (Mid 2020), beQuiet Pure Wings 2 140mm x2 & 120mm x1 (Mid 2023),

It is none of those. It is being kept because it is my genuine belief, based on and backed up by research [1] [2] [3], that although it would be nice to fill the width, the solution is not to use excessively long lines of text.

I haven't updated that in ages.

Maybe I should update that

Yours is broken right now, but I found one called new dark theme hotfix that does do it.
