Minecraft sales for PC Pass 13 Million Milestone

Minecraft has just passed 13 million PC sales. As confirmed by Markus Persson or Notch, the Minecraft sales had passed 13 million recently. Looks like Minecraft is not going to gone anytime soon, so if you have not tried it yet you still have time.

Minecraft, that little game that started by Markus Persson (Notch to his fans) selling as an alpha version to help funding, is still doing phenomenally well and it doesn't appear that it will be slowing down anytime soon. PC sales recently passed the 13 million milestone.

This was followed up by a comment that the Xbox 360 version had passed the milestone of 10 million units sold. Which also was confirmed on Major Nelson's Blog.

Minecraft is the main reason I got into PCs and PC gaming so I appreciate the game even though I don't play it anymore

Poorly optimized. They can get it to run on a Raspberry Pi, but not a P4.

Ahh Minecraft, some good memories there. Haven't played it in almost a year though.
