1200 euro build

Antonios

Hello. Im thinking of buying a new pc about 1200 euros. I will use it for video encoding and secondly for gaming.

The processor will be AMD CPU Ryzen 5 1500X and I will put a 1070ti.

Do you have any other suggestion?

What RAM memories and SSD should I take?

Then this includes a 1080p 75hz IPS free-sync display

4k 60hz IPS free-sync displays are about $400 on there

M.2 is pretty much a space saver. There's not much of a speed difference.

There's only a speed difference if you invest in an NVME M.2 SSD

It is nicer to have in general, but I didn't see many options on the part picker, just older Intel 540s

NVME probably won't fit in this budget anyways

Would have to live without a hard drive for a while or something, likely doesn't need NVME anyways

Why that unit? For that price, you might as well get a decent unit, like the Pure Power 10 or Vengeance.

Why? If the case can fit one, get a 2,5" drive. M.2 drives will run hotter, potentially thermal throttling them under sustained loads.

They only thermal throttle under synthetic loads really, not a big deal

Just seems like a decent price for the wattage, I'm sure there's other options though

You probably don't need a unit that high end/expensive.
