Good racing/driving games?

Hi,

 

Just shelled out and bought a Thrustmaster T300 RS wheel with T3PA pedals and TH8A shifter and now looking for some driving/racing games to get. I'm not super into driving sims or NFS titles.

Main PC CPU: 7700K, MOBO: Asus Strix, GPU: Aorus Extreme 3080, PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 750, RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB Storage: 970 Evo 1tb

Lounge PC CPU: 4790K MOBO: Asus Hero VII GPU: EVGA 3060 Ti PSU: Corsair RM650 RAM: Kingston HyperX 16gb Storage: 970 Evo 1TB

Have you tried BeamNG.Drive before?

If you are not into those two genres.. It doesn't leave a whole ton.

 

Can't recommend stuff like Truck Simulators.. Or really (somewhat) realistic race sims.. And NFS is arcade-y race games.. Which covers most other race games I guess.

So what kind of games are you looking for?

 

Stuff like Asetto Corsa, Forza and that sorta stuff?

I've got Forza Horizon 3 so I will give Forza 6 a go. I don't mind arcade like games like GRID, not a fan of NFS titles.

I wish I could still confidently recommend Midtown Madness 2, because I just love that game.. I just don't know if it work with newer steering wheels :P 

But Asetto Corsa is one I could definitely recommend, it's just kinda 'serious' in terms of gameplay.

Just bought Asetto Corsa, Dirt Rally and BeamNG.Drive. Gonna check out Project cars, just a bit pricey right now even with all DLC.

also FH3 is pretty crappy with a wheel. it's better suited with a controller

Grab Automobilista and rFactor 2 as well since it's pretty cheap.

I played the heck out of Need For Speed: Shift Unleashed 2. It's nothing like the new NFS titles. No street racing, no cops, just racing and fairly in depth tuning.

 

I also like Dirt 3. Again, pure racing, although mostly rally racing.
