Currently I have

Audio Technica ATH-M50s

Sennheiser PC360

Skullcandy Ink'd 2 (I hate them)

using an ASUS Xonar D2X at home and IDT audio on a laptop at work.

EDIT: yes of course, speakers

I have some Phonor Micro 2's

running through a Sony Super Legato something amp

However I will be getting a Blue Snowball (in the mail as of now), some IEMs, either JBL J33i or Shure 215's, in a pickle (halp?) and I might sell the Sennheisers sometime

Reviews: JBL J33i   M50s   SRH440   Soundmagic PL50

On a more budget orientated setup at the moment being a student and all. Still very happy with it though.

Shure SRH440 headphones

Xonar DG soundcard

Dell 2.1 speakers from '04 which came with our old dimension. Would like to replace them with some Audioengines A2s in the future.

Way to make us all feel inadequate :P

I am currently using 3 headphones:

Beyerdynamics Custom One Pros

AD 700x

Sennheiser IEMs (some midrange $60 ones, I forget which)

I use a ThunderFX external DAC/AMP.

No speakers, don't feel the need in a dorm, would get a set of SP2500

They won't sound good with any of your amps/sound cards.. (Talking about the LCD2's) They're too low impedance. You're going to kill the bass on them.

That's fine, you'll just need an amp with low output impedance for those headphones. No point in spending $1000 on headphones and having them ruined by a badly designed amp.

Tube amps will give you the same issues. All tube amps have high output impedance.

=/ There are a few I want to try. I'll be going to Indonesia to have an audition for products. Australia has jack shit of stuff ==. I had that in my mind because that's the only one i've tried so far. I hear Bursons are quite nice but I'll have to try them out first
