A CX550 is a solid PSU and is likely no worse than what's in the iMac Pro.

people need to stop trying to justify or argue against mac pricing using  diy pc gamer mindset.  Sure you can get equivalent hardware cheaper,  but their target audience is not interested in building a computer and they are certainly not interested in troubleshooting and being their own tech support when things don't work.  That goes for the MS surface as well.

I think people need to realize as well they're paying for a free update for at least 2-3 years on the OS and one of the best if not the best after sales customer service and add-ons from an electronic brand in the world.

The whole industry only realized recently that if they want to succeed, what they need to sell is not a hardware or software or both. They need to sell a great experience of interactions between the gadget and the customer. This is why microsoft and google, the 2 big companies that have the capability and resources to rival apple started doing the same thing apple has been doing for years.

I'm of the opinion that MS and Google always knew,  google is built on services and MS has been offering  customer oriented services/support behind all it's corporate software for decades. Home/domestic users traditionally have not been MS's bread and butter.
