Unidentified Hardware

So I found a Sandisk Chip. I have no idea where it would slot in, or what I would need to read it. I'm also only 80% sure it even is a memory chip, since the manufacturer is Sandisk, but I really have no idea what it is. Images of the object here:

That's the PCB to probably an HDD. Notice the SATA ports. It can't do anything without an HDD attached to it.

 

EDIT: I've looked at it a bit more, and noticed that there isn't a connector to "communicate" with the HDD, therefore it is a standalone drive, most likely an SSD.

Looks like one of those SSD modules. Plug it in with a SATA data and power cable.
