Black screen after windows logo

Once I turn my pc on and the windows icon appears with the loading icon, the screen will go black and it seems the only way to turn the screen on is by pressing the enter key (haven't tried any other key yet). This has only just started happening today. My graphics drivers are up to date and so im not sure how to fix this issue.

Have you made sure there are no loose cables?

Yeah, ive checked the pc and everything is correctly plugged in, its just started today when I got home.
