HELP!! Asus prime z370a M.2

So I've just plugged in an Intel p600 512 pcie m.2 ssd into the slot in my Asus prime z370a motherboard 

 

And I have no idea what I'm doing, or how to get it to work 

 

I want to load windows onto it but it's not showing up anywhere and I'm lost in the bios.

 

I think I might try update the bios first.

Can someone help walk me through this?

In the bios it should show up as a drive in the boot Menu.  I think that is f8 from the main UEFI EZ mode menu.
