Because it is 180hz that is a crazy high refresh rate, some people prefer the high fps for "smoother more natural feeling" gameplay, unlike me who prefers image quality :P .

Also I am basing myself off OP playing Triple A at ultras and such since the rest of his system is actually very capable.

Also I do think that replace his display for something beefier would be easier than replace GPU should he get something like that 1070.

Cheers.

Hello, im quite confused on what gpu/vc like a 1060, 1070 or maybe a 1080 , i dont know if my information is correct so here it is, so i have a 1920x1080p resolution 180hz monitor does buying a 1070 or 1080 be too much for  the monitor? cuz 1070 is for 1440p and 1080 is greatly used for 1440p resulotions and 4k. if what im saying is wrong please correct me thanks, among the gpu's what should i get? (1050,1060,1070,1080)

For 180HZ small comprises in settings get a 1070. If you are ok with big settings comprises get a 1060. No comprises would be the 1080.

If you can afford a 1080 get a 1070 Ti which performs the same but is cheaper.

Yes your computer is by all means sufficient for a 1080 Ti.

If you want to stay 1080p 144 hz then GTX 1070, if you want to upgrade later 1440p 144 hz or 4k then GTX 1080 Ti roles in.

Not really you did your homework there the i7 6700k is still like the 3rd~4th best gaming CPU out there, my best advice is to learn all there is to learn on CPU and Memory RAM overclocking and do it so you can squeeze additional performance.

Reason why I'd consider a 1080 Ti is solely because the components you have are very decent and can keep up with it fairly well.
