The 1700 is the best dollar to performance. It probably won't overclock to 4ghz. The best value in the Ryzen lineup for the next 3-5 years of gaming performance imo is the Ryzen 7 1700 overclocked to 3.7ghz on the stock cooler at stock voltages. Just my two cents.
