Everyone who is remotely into tech is well aware of OCZ biting the dust, but OCZ wasn't the only firm that once produced products that are no longer in the wild. How many members here on LTT have tech in their main rig that is sporting a part that is no longer on the market? Either the company itself is gone, or the company phased out that part of their production.

 

For me, I didn't know Patriot stopped making SSDs until I tried seeing if they had anything new out only to find out they phased out due to "too much competition". My Patriot Wildfire has held up over the years with no issues and was once regarded the fastest non PCI-E SSD.

 

What rare goodies lurk in your rigs that's off the market?

I have original corsair H80? But i wish i had something from OCZ i wish i could of supported them in some way i really liked them.

Someone bought OCZ, but I have a Vertex Plus, an old P4 rig I picked up has an Aopen motherboard.

I have a 9800GT. Dinosaur crap right there.

I used to have a Zero Infinity Shiva CPU Cooler, pretty unheard of brand, and they stopped making the Shiva as far as I am aware.
