Facebook phone

I put this in this forum because its mildly tech related.

 

What would you guys think or do if Facebook made a phone? It wouldn't be too hard for them to enter the market since they are literally the biggest social platform on the web. I feel like it is possible since other companies are starting to make phones too (RED and Razer).  I don't think it would be the greatest thing ever either because while facebook is great I feel like they would try to make it too integrated with facebook and try to sync everything connected to the phone with the facebook app. What do you guys think?

Phone market is a bit oversaturated IMO.

Facebook doesn't need to make a phone to get all your info, they get it from facebook already.

That's what makes money.

They already tried it. It failed. Horribly.

That and the fact that nearly every phone company includes the Facebook app without the ability to delete it.

One of the biggest piss offs IMO.

What would be the point? iOS, for example, already has great Facebook integration, as do many android phones. I just don't see any added benefit to this.

Haha! That why it fail. I read news mentioned that phone is from need money to FOC when subscribe to that Telco but still nobody want.

 

I had personally side load that Facebook Home before and it is very bad design. In 1st release it is like your phone only do one thing "Facebook"... Haha! Facebook already remove that apps from Play Store.
