Hello!

 

I am currently in the process of planning a brand new PC build. There are currently 2 great used GPU options for me and I would be very glad to hear some opinions. These are personal offers so its somewhat better than other offers (such as ebay).

 

1 person is offering me his used RX 470 8GB for around $180. He used it for demanding gaming and cryptomining for a couple of years.

 

Another person is offering me a GTX 970 4GB for $155. It was used for 3 years for heavy 1440p gaming with a 150mhz boost clock.

 

Both cards seemed to be owned by people who knew how to take care of them, but I am unsure. I also am unsure of the average lifespans of GPUs.

 

I am also looking at getting a GTX 1050ti for $150 brand new.

 

Which of these is the best deal?

Who the fu#k bought an 8GB 470? I'd slap his stupid face and put his wallet in the trash.

That RX 470 might be pretty beat up from mining 24/7

 

I'd also reccomend the 970, 150 Hz OC is nothing that would had stressed the card under load, tho be warry that its memory bottlenecked if you wanna run demanding games on Ultra settings.
