Using laptop as a monitor for a laptop

Beef Boss

Would it be possible to use a laptop as a monitor for a laptop? I know this seems dumb, but I have two laptops and I'd like two screens... I can't get it to work, but the one laptop doesn't have a hard drive or OS, which I'm going to put Ubuntu on. The one would run Ubuntu, and the other which would be the main computer will run windows 10 and Fedora.

If I understand correctly, http://spacedesk.ph/ should do this, but it is Windows only and in beta and is buggy.
